Regardless of your personal opinion in regard to is it a good time to buy Kelowna real estate, many people do believe it is. In fact, Kelowna is breaking and has broken some very significant records.
If you have been following the Okanagan real estate market you might have been questioning if it is a good time to buy Kelowna Real Estate. That is because since 2008 our market has shown a lacklustre performance at best.
Now, however, thanks to pressure from an overheated market in Vancouver and a groundswell of retirees from Alberta, market data is showing us having moved very swiftly from a Buyers market to a Sellers market.
What does that mean for you?
Well, frankly, attempting to time a market is always a losing game, so best case scenario you are joining many people who love to move here and enjoy what the Okanagan has to offer. Worst case scenario, you may need a slightly larger mortgage than you would have done last year.
For the Okanagan it is good news. Our local economy is hopping with the tech sector driving a lot of interest and a growing service sector to support the ageing population also changing the dynamics of Kelowna.
